If you knew the perfect job for you was out there, would you start looking? Because chances are, it is.
It’s safe to say the job market in our industry is hot right now. I’ve watched it grow and there’s data to back it up: according to a recent Star Tribune article, more than 90 new restaurants opened in the Twin Cities in 2014 alone – and 42 (and counting) additional locations are in the works for this market in 2015.
More restaurants = more opportunities. It really is that simple. But finding those jobs – or that “one” job for you – isn’t always easy.
That’s where I come in.
I’m a recruiter. This much is clear. But what does that mean, exactly? It means, when restaurants need help finding talent, they contact me. I work with restaurants new and existing, independent and corporate, local and national in scope. All of them are successful and growing, and have rewarding opportunities to offer professionals like you. And the positions they’re looking to fill? Often, they’re not posted anywhere else.
My role as your recruiter also means that when I come across an opportunity that aligns with what you’re looking for, I contact you right away. There’s no digging on job boards, no endless networking, no phone calls made in the hopes of connecting with a hiring manager. As your recruiter, I do that work for you.
You’re busy enough. Whether you’re in the front-of-the-house or in the kitchen, you’re probably putting in at least 50 hours a week, and when you get home, you’re tired. A job search alone is exhausting, nevermind tackling it on top of other life and work responsibilities.
So, call me. Email me. Tell me what you’re looking for, and let me bring the opportunities to you. That’s all you need to do to get started. The perfect job does not have to be the stuff of daydreams. It’s out there. Let me help you find it.
