Prior to jumping into the restaurant industry, Dina spent seven years writing everything from grants for non-profit organizations to copy for corporate websites. She also dabbled in community relations, strategic planning, and event coordination.
In 2006, Dina parlayed this experience into a six-year stint handling marketing, events, and general operations for a Minneapolis restaurant owner with three (and eventually five) locations. She planned weddings, coordinated wine- and beer-tasting dinners, handled marketing and promotions efforts, tackled payroll and human resources issues, and put out the many “fires” that ignite – both literally and figuratively – on the scene.
Dina decided it was time for something new after the arrival of her oldest son in 2012. She joined the EHS–Minneapolis staff as resident writer and marketing aficionado, and is now using her skills to increase EHS’s visibility by writing content for and building a new company blog; broaden EHS’s social media presence; and streamline the recruitment process by creating candidate and client resources designed to inform and ensure successful placements.
Outside of work, you’ll find Dina teaching yoga, running, volunteering for her favorite non-profit, with her nose in a book, whipping up something new in the kitchen with a glass of wine in one hand, at the dog park, and enjoying life with her family.
